A Share House in a Historic Kominka
京都から1時間足らず。滋賀県東近江市に静かな田園の小さな集落に佇む、独自の歴史を持つ古民家。
昭和7年（1932年）、裕福な実業家の一族によって建てられました。2棟の蔵を中心に、それらを囲むように母屋が配置されており、当時の近江商人屋敷の趣を今に伝えていま す。
敷地は約300坪。敷地内には家庭菜園と8本の梅の木があり、希望される方は野菜づくりにも参加していただけます。
周囲には穏やかな田園風景が広がり、集落を見守るように和田山と和田神社が佇んでいます。都会の喧騒から離れ、季節の移ろいを身近に感じながら暮らせる、とても静かな環境です。
Live in a traditional kominka house with a unique history - less than an hour away from Kyoto, in the quiet of a rural village in Higashiomi, Shiga prefecture.
Built in 1932 by a wealthy business family, this historic kominka was designed around 2 storehouses in the Omi merchant residence style of that period and of that area.
The whole property is around 990 m² wide, has a vegetable garden which you are welcome to help grow, 8 Japanese plum trees, and is located in a very quiet countryside hamlet dominated by the Wada hill and the Wada Shinto shrine.
